Add a visit to the Rochester Harbor and Carousel Festival to you tour. The event at Ontario Beach Park celebrates Rochester's Harbor and Port area. It includes arts and crafts vendors, a huge food tent with a jazz stage, and music on the main park stage all weekend. Fireworks, a boat parade of lights, Lake Ontario Wine Festival and tasting, lighthouse tours, add to the entertainment. And don't overlook the beautiful and historic Dentzel Menagerie Carousel, installed in 1905 and featuring 52 hand-carved animals including horses, mules, ostriches, and a tiger, as well as two chariots.
